"Bruiser" is the name of the latest upcoming release for The Duke Spirit and it features such tracks as 'Surrender' which is spinning the most here on the Hi-Fi at Transistor Six. Other favorites of ours include 'Villain' as well as 'Everybody's Under Your Spell', also would feel like we were leaving out a favorite family member in the family photo if we didn’t include the track 'Procession'!

Funny, truth be told moment. The last time I got to see the Duke Spirit I got to spend a few days on the tour bus with them in Austin TX. When I got there I had a top bunk with a handwritten contract "Friendship Clause" taped to my bunk wall.

So as much as I would like to tell you all the details, I cannot since the contract was life binding. I can say that my bond with this band was cemented and when they come to Austin again we will definitely have ourselves a time...

We could go on and on about this record which has a slightly sexier feel than their last album Neptune. Viva La Dukes!
